I would like to see the restaurant, cafe or pub that lays on a better carvery than the Riviera Cafe.
And its the Yorkshire pudding and vegetables that does it.
There is a choice of traditional or, for the more adventurous, garlic roast potatoes. With green beans, cauliflour cheese , parsnips, carrots and stuffing. Four or five roasts, gravy and the usual apple, horseradish, cranberry and if I remember correctly mint sauce.
If there is still room, they have a decadent display of desserts with lashings of cream, chocolate and sticky stuff.
